Immediate opening for a SOLO Flex Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Trucker to join us at Ryder in Aurora, CO

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
\n \n
• Hourly Pay: $31.90 Per Hour
\n \n
• Hours Per Week: 45 + hours per week
\n \n
• Per Diem Pay: $40.00 per night
\n \n
• Paid Training
\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (Scheduled 4 of those days)
\n \n
• Start Time: 5:00 AM
\n \n
• Route Delivery Experience Required
\n \n
• 80% Travel Required - Must Be Flexible to travel to other locations

• Deliver SOLO To: CO, UT, ID, MT, WA, and OR
\n \n
• Route: Home Daily/Regional 1-5 Nights out per week
\n \n
• Tractor Type: Straight Truck & Pup Trailers
\n \n
• Trailer Type: Straight Truck 26' & Pup Trailers 28'
\n \n
• Equipment: Hand Truck and Liftgate
\n \n
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
\n \n
• Freight: Heavy Touch - Pet Food
\n \n
• Snow driving experience required
\n \n\n

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.

Requirements

\n \n\n

• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

\n
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
