We're currently looking for an energetic, driven, and wine-savvy sales professional to join our team as a Fine Wine Sales Representative in the Sacramento area.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines a true passion for fine wine with the hunger and discipline to sell. If you've spent at least 2 years in the wine industry and thrive on relationship-building, strategic thinking, and closing deals—you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities
\tDevelop and grow strong relationships with high-profile accounts through consistent outreach and authentic engagement.
\tCurate and present selections from our portfolio tailored to each account's style, clientele, and needs.
\tDrive sales by maximizing wine placements across on-premise and off-premise accounts.
\tOpen new business by identifying prospects and executing smart, strategic cold calls.
\tDeliver on sales goals by building weekly action plans, tracking progress, and refining tactics.
\tLead staff trainings, host tastings, and be a trusted source of wine knowledge for your accounts.
\tStay ahead of vintage changes, allocations, and supplier opportunities—and communicate updates proactively.
\tBe the frontline resource for your territory: managing orders, solving issues, and keeping accounts engaged.

What You Bring
\t2+ years of experience selling fine wine in a distributor, importer, or supplier role.
\tProven track record of achieving sales goals and growing territory revenue.
\tStrong knowledge of Old World and New World wine regions (CA, OR, WA, Argentina, etc.).
\tWSET, SWE or comparable wine education preferred.
\tExisting relationships in the Sacramento market a big plus.
\tDriven, organized, personable, and not afraid to cold call or walk into a new account.
\tWillingness to work nights and weekends for tastings, events, and supplier visits.
\tAble to lift 40-pound cases of wine and manage wine materials and displays.
\tProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales platforms (PocketAdvantage experience a plus).
\tMust reside within the territory, hold a valid driver's license, have your own insured vehicle, and a clean driving record.
\tMust be 21+ years old.
