About the Role:
In this role, you will be based at a TurboTax location, providing both in-person and virtual support utilizing Intuit TurboTax products. Your tax knowledge will be essential in delivering comprehensive tax return preparation, offering tax advice, performing calculations, and delivering software support. You'll need to demonstrate an understanding of each customer's unique circumstances and help alleviate the stress associated with tax season. Whether dealing with simple W2 filings, navigating significant life events, or handling more complex tax scenarios, you will be the go-to expert for your clients.

Additionally, your role will include efforts to expand TurboTax's local client base, fostering long-term relationships to enhance customer loyalty. TurboTax will equip you with a clear playbook, essential tools, and dedicated support to help you succeed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Tax Expertise: Deliver hands-on tax advice and full-service tax preparation for TurboTax clients, addressing a range of tax situations. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, optimize deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and offer future tax planning advice using various resources.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Act as a community ambassador and business owner, engaging with new clients and converting leads into loyal customers through proactive outreach. Organize local events to foster customer connections.
• Educate and Communicate Confidently: Represent TurboTax confidently within your community, hosting engaging learning events and creating accessible content to demystify tax processes.
• Build Relationships: Establish and nurture trust-based relationships with clients, demonstrating sensitivity to their financial concerns.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience: Create an exceptional experience for clients, showcasing professionalism and genuine interest in helping them reach their financial goals. Interact both in-person and through Intuit’s advanced video tools to resolve client inquiries.

Who You Are:

• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) holder.
• At least 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Available to work a static schedule of at least 24 hours per week on-site at a TurboTax location.
• Interest in building a local and online presence as a TurboTax Associate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services is a bonus.
