Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will install and maintain cables for computers, routers, telephone systems, and other electronic equipment. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers to understand their needs, assessing the project requirements, removing the old equipment, installing and testing new cables. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand their needs
• Assess the project requirements, including design and equipment
• Install Data cables in commercial, retail, and industrial spaces
• Remove old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment
• Troubleshoot cable and network problems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience as a Data Cable Installer, low-voltage technician, or related experience is preferred
• Knowledge of telecommunications and electrical equipment and systems
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces
