Job Description

Construction Admin Assistant

Incumbent will collaborate with and maintain clear communication with corporate personnel and sub-contractors and assist the project management team in project initiation and closeout tasks as well as project status management/tracking.

Job Duties:

  • Setup of new vendors
  • Manage sub-contractor insurance documentation
  • Create and issue sub-contractor project agreement packages
  • Manage sub-contractor database
  • Collection and management of project closeout documents
  • Create project closeout invoice packages
  • Assist with sub-contractor scheduling/dispatching
  • Assist with project bid package documentation
  • Assist with project cost tracking
  • Manage current project status database
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Admin Assistant within the construction industry is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must.
  • Willingness to work well with colleagues and stay motivated when working independently.
  • Willingness to accept new challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe and/or Bluebeam.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive positive attitude.
