Overview Associate Creative Director // Sr Copywriter w/ A.I. Focus – Freelance Role: Freelance Associate Creative Director / Senior Copywriter with experience in AI-focused campaigns to support new AI brand-focused campaigns for a Fortune 100 client. This engagement is immediate and on W2 hourly freelance terms, with potential hybrid or remote work. The candidate should be able to work PST hours; Seattle metro is a plus. Responsibilities Provide creative leadership and vision to the creative staff; own assigned projects, manage all aspects of the assignment (team, creative work, budget, presenting); collaborate with Creative Directors to ensure quality and accuracy; mentor and train junior team members (Senior Copywriters, Copywriters, Interns). Conceptualize and produce a diverse range of creative ideas; perform hands-on copywriter duties when needed; present creative rationale in internal and client presentations; drive the creative solution for new business pitches; offer proactive solutions and ensure successful progression. Collaborate with Account Directors and creative leaders on interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating junior staff; communicate business scopes, schedules, and planning. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 5–9+ years of hands-on copywriting experience in advertising, marketing, or experiential agency environments; experience with brand and conceptual work. Advanced competencies in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and multi-channel environments; familiarity with advertising industry-standard software. Strong understanding of both art and copy sides and ability to evaluate both; experience with AI-driven creative campaigns is a MUST. Ability to develop fully integrated marketing campaigns across mediums; strong portfolio demonstrating strategic, conceptual, and creative thinking; excellent presentation skills. Pay and Engagement Pay range on W2 Freelance payroll: $130–$160 per hour for ~40 hours per week.
